Trust & Protection

You own your archive. We protect the experience.

ClosedCast is a private streaming archive built for preservation, ownership, portability, and long-term access. We do not profit from your content, run ads against it, or distribute it outside of user-requested sharing.

Trust starts with ownership.

ClosedCast exists to help people preserve meaningful videos without surrendering control of the memories, teachings, training, events, and organizational history they upload.

You own your content.

Customers retain ownership of all videos, recordings, images, metadata, and other content uploaded to ClosedCast. ClosedCast does not claim ownership of customer archives.

We never profit from your content.

ClosedCast does not sell, license, monetize, or profit from customer content. We do not run ads against your videos or distribute them outside of user-requested sharing.

Your archive remains portable.

ClosedCast provides self-service export tools for videos and archive metadata. Additional export assistance is available upon request, and egress is free.

What ClosedCast stands for.

ClosedCast was founded in 2026 as a new company with new rules for a new era: archives over algorithms, customers over advertisers, and preservation over platform lock-in.

Ownership over extraction

Your archive belongs to you. ClosedCast provides the technology and streaming experience, not a business model built around exploiting customer content.

Continuity over virality

We build for preservation, replayability, and long-term access—not feeds, trends, ads, or engagement metrics.

Portability over lock-in

Customers can download their videos, export archive metadata, and retrieve their content without egress fees.

Responsibility over anonymity

You own your data, control your data, and are responsible for your data. ClosedCast maintains moderation and enforcement processes to protect customers, viewers, and the platform.

Trust signals that matter for an archive.

An archive product is a trust business. ClosedCast answers the questions customers should ask before preserving important videos on any platform.

1

Backed up nightly

ClosedCast performs nightly backups of video content and archive metadata. Backups are stored separately from production systems and retained indefinitely for active customers.

2

Protected by design

Customer content and archive data are protected using encrypted storage systems. All traffic is encrypted using HTTPS, and streaming access is protected through authenticated controls.

3

Built to be recoverable

ClosedCast maintains recovery procedures and restoration-ready copies of critical platform systems and source code to support archive continuity.

ClosedCast is actively maintained as Version 1.2. We perform nightly backups, store backups separately from production systems, provide self-service exports, maintain a free egress policy, and include Roku access with every plan. No technology platform can guarantee protection against every possible event, so customers should also keep independent copies of irreplaceable content.
